AI: The Somnium Files - nirvanA Initiative Story:
This game is set in a futuristic
Tokyo. The narrative of AI: The Somnium Files - nirvanA Initiative is focused
on a strange assassination. 6 years prior, the cops discovered half of the
person’s body. The in-game action starts after the remaining body is
discovered. Miraculously, even after 6 years, the body has not decomposed.
AI: The Somnium Files - nirvanA Initiative Gameplay:
You play the role of an agent of
the secret police department who goes deeper into the memories of the accused
while carrying out inquiries. This technique lets them gather extra hints. An
AI aids the protagonist in her investigation.
The sequel further builds up the
idea of the base game. You will do investigations in a visual novel game. You
need to ask questions from the witnesses & investigate the suspects, as
well as explore the sites via your companion AI abilities.
The choices of players will help
them in changing the direction of the narrative that will lead to different
endings. Usually in visual novel games, players must play the same story with
different choices to find alternative ways & endings. However, AI: The
Somnium Files - nirvanA Initiative does not follow that pattern because players
can simply go back to the main points & select different decisions for
discovering alternative ways.
