Graphics Comparison between PGA Tour 2K23 VS PGA Tour 2K21:

Another big improvement can be seen when customizing the athlete. You can decide from over twelve face models that can be customized. However, the hair styles, moustaches, & beards are limited but the game offers enough options to create a different athlete in PGA Tour 2K23 that seems different from the PGA Tour 2K21.

The look of the athletes, & certain features of the golf course are not up to the mark. Even the cover athlete needs some tweaking.

Majority of the golf courses seem solid, but most especially the lakes do not seem realistic. However, it seems like graphically, upcoming PGA games will improve once the series expands & starts selling well.

Players can now play with Tour pros & not only their MyPlayers. Fifteen licensed athletes are available in PGA Tour 2K23, & players can choose anyone of them.

More pros will be available as downloadable content.

Players can leave the game competitions, & choose to play player made competitions in the career mode.

Players can use the excellent environment-building tool. Now more aspects have been added to the tool.

Players can build the same courses they made in the previous PGA Tour games. Now they have the choice to incorporate those courses in place of the seasonal fixture instead of the inbuilt competitions. Now players have a better control over the customization of the season, which is an awesome feature.

 

Introduction of Three Click Swings:

PGA Tour 2K23 adds a popular swing mechanic. Fans might have played 3 click swings from the classic Tiger Woods video games. Until now, the 2K franchise was just providing an analog swing stick as a choice.

In PGA Tour 2K23, players can decide b/w both swing styles. Both of the mechanics are used for different circumstances. If you want to perform driving & approach shots then it is better to switch to 3 click controls, but choose the swing stick when on the green.

Good news is that it is possible to switch b/w the swing mechanics simply, so having a dual way is a good option. It seems like players will be able to find the right balance b/w the swing styles when PGA Tour 2K23 is officially launched.
