NHL 23 is set to be launched on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, & Xbox One on 14 October 2022. Trevor Zegras & Sarah Nurse appears on the official NHL 23 cover. For the first time, a woman appears on the cover of NHL games.

Users can now enjoy last-chance puck movement animations in NHL 23 that lets users to make desperation shots while tumbling. When users get a hit, then they can still try to execute a pass or shoot the puck while falling.

NHL 23 supports Cross Play. Cross Platform Matchmaking allows PS4 players to only play against the same generation of console: Xbox One players. Similarly, PS5 players can only play against Xbox Series X/S players. However, PS4 players cannot play with or against PS5, & Xbox Series X/S players. Similarly, PS5 players cannot play with or against PS4 & Xbox One players.

PS4 players can play NHL 23 with or against PS4 players. Xbox One players can play with or against Xbox One players. PS5 players can play with or against PS5 players. Xbox Series X/S players can play with or against Xbox Series X/S players.

 

Does NHL 23 Support Cross Progression?

Cross Save in NHL 22 permitted users to share their items from old generation to the present generation of consoles, & it will work in the same way in NHL 23. In November 2022, Electronic Arts will offer users an opportunity to share their HUT team value & progress from PlayStation 4 / Xbox One to the PlayStation 5 / Xbox Series X.
