Before beginning gameplay, users need to describe the empire that are going to lead. They need to choose climate, adjust its people, they can decide from built-in parties, choose their culture & social features. As well as, users need to define with different features the ruler, who they will be playing the role of, offering him a magical book, required for powering armies during battle, etc.
The game features some unique attributes. This game offers new events that will highly expand the narrative layer of the series. As well as the gameplay has seen some exemplary outcomes of the choices made before – at first neutral metropolises were added to the empire, & as an outcome of a magical spell its regions were covered with snow.
The creators did not offer much detail about the combat of this game. Combat uses turn based system, & during battle, users can take advantage of their surroundings. This feature was also available in the previous games. New features related to combat have not been revealed so far.
