Platform Multiplayer is taking a big leap with enhanced features that allow
users to play with & versus users across same gen consoles in HUT &
World of Chel. Cross Platform Multiplayer was first available in NHL 23, however
it just allowed users to compete versus other users on the same gen console. The
improvements mean that the user pool has grown up, & now users can make a
squad with even more buddies in their favourite online modes.
Cross Play allows users to play
with or against other users on the same console gen, which means that PS5 users
& Xbox Series X/S users can make a squad with each other to play with or
versus each other, while Xbox One & PS4 users can do the same. Users cannot
play cross generationally, which means that Xbox One users & PS5 users can’t
play with or versus each other.
Cross Play will be available in
NHL 24 when the game releases across the globe on 6 October 2023.
Cross Platform Multiplayer highly
enhances player pools, letting users make a squad with their buddies &
lower the wait times to discover rivals.
Does NHL 24 support Cross
Progression?
It seems like Cross Progression
will not be available in NHL 24 at launch. NHL 24 is releasing after a couple
