We have added all the concrete information about WWE 2K19 including its review, game modes, features, release date, roster, gameplay, superstar ratings, trailers, walkthroughs & you can find more stuff in this article so keep scrolling till the end.

WWE 2K19 is a professional wrestling video game developed by Yuke’s & Visual Concepts. WWE 2K19 was published by 2K Sports. WWE 2K19 was released for PS4, Xbox One & PC Windows on 9 October, 2018. WWE 2K19 is the 20th game in the popular WWE game series & a sequel to WWE 2K18.

WWE 2K19 is not based on the simulation styled gameplay featured in last four WWE games & the game offers fast & more fluid gameplay. Fans criticized the simulation styled gameplay & they said that it was very slow, sluggish & it was not fun anymore & 2K Games had acknowledged all those fans reviews & now they developed a better game.

WWE 2K19 features new game modes, & a different, more fluid experience. You have more customization options, & you can edit championship belts further than in earlier games, & you can now edit the side plates.

The lightning & shaders of WWE 2K19 are improved but the models or faces look almost the same like WWE 2K18. The wrestlers & environment pop on screen in a way that is truly amazing & real.

WWE 2K19 Game Modes:

The game include modes returning from previous games in addition to new modes including 2K Showcase Mode, which focuses on the career of Daniel Bryan. After WWE 2K17 Hall of Fame Showcase expansion, it is the first Showcase featured in the WWE series. You can play with 11 different unique models of Daniel, in 11 matches, including his velocity match vs John Cena.

There are 2 new Tower modes. In MyPlayer Towers mode, characters or created superstars can get involved in challenges offline or online. There are new daily, weekly & pay per view challenge towers included in the series for the first time. The Towers are of 2 types: Gauntlet & Steps. The Gauntlet Tower allows you to end the Tower completely in one session. If you quit a match or lose it, your progress is reset to square one. However, in Steps Tower, your progress is saved after each match, so you can play at any pace you want.

MyCareer mode has been rebuilt & it now includes a more linear storyline that is focused around the superstar you made. The character can then work his or her way from independent wrestling promotions to the WWE. The career mode also includes voice acting for the first time. Barron Blade is a superstar featured in earlier MyCareer modes, is available & can act as the created player’s guide.

You can now connect with 1 of 8 different groups in The Road to Glory Mode which returns from earlier games.

WWE 2K19 Cover Star:

WWE 2K19 features AJ Styles as the cover star.

WWE 2K19 Features:

You can now get involved in the action with fast & fluid gameplay with thousands of fresh animations that allows you to experience wrestling at a superior level.

The players can now shape MyPlayer’s Career path as they make a way to become the WWE champion. WWE 2K19 features an original narrative voiced by WWE Superstars, which makes WWE 2K19 the top MyCareer experience yet.

You can start a new journey with Daniel Bryan. You can work your way from his career making moment in the Wrestle Mania to his retirement & finally to a glorious comeback in 2018. You can finish all objective to unlock superstars, attires & arenas.

Million Dollar Challenge is a new feature included in WWE 2K19 which takes place in the new Challenge mode.

AJ Styles is the cover star of WWE 2K19 & those who have pre-ordered WWE 2K19 received bonus superstars Rey Mysterio & Ronda Rousey.

WWE 2K Creation Suite:

The creation suite is considered as one of the top features in WWE 2K. Now there are more layers available. You have a chance to modify sideplates on title belts in addition to Money in the Bank briefcase. WWE 2K19 creation suite includes fresh environmental filters for Create-An-Arena. Characters can be constructed with block bodies & when you are creating a superstar, you can mirror an accessory from one side of the body to the other side.

WWE 2K19 also includes new feature which is Create-A-Superstar Randomizer. This option lets you randomly produce the best cohesively designed wrestlers because the system establishes & follows a color scheme, which is also produced at random. You can also create hats, gloves or footwear all randomly.

Changes in Universe Mode:

The universe mode is also modified while there are some new features included in this mode too.

The championship system is further expanded & it now allows 6 championships per show while the previous game only allowed 4.

Now you can give multiple female’s titles or tag titles to a show which is a new customization option.
You can assign up to 3 managers for any Superstar. They will show up alongside the character in One on One & normal Tag Team matches.

New MyCareer Story:

The new feature added to WWE 2K19 is MyCareer Story. It seems far more in-depth & you can listen to the voice of real WWE Superstar & actors during cutscenes. I think it is the best MyCareer mode so far. However, you cannot create a female wrestler in MyCareer which is the downside of this mode.

WWE 2K19 Platforms & Release date:

WWE 2K19 is not going to launch on Nintendo Switch this year due to some problems that fans faced while playing WWE 2K18 on Nintendo Switch. WWE 2K19 was released on PS4, Xbox One & PC Windows on 9 October, 2018.

If you pre-ordered WWE 2K19 deluxe edition then you could play the game on 4 October. The deluxe edition also included more playable characters.

WWE 2K19 Superstars Roster:

WWE 2K19 now includes a massive roster of famous wrestlers. The roster adds WWE Superstars, Legends & Hall of Famers in addition to NXT favorites. You can choose the current WWE Superstars including AJ Styles, Seth Rollins, Brock Lesnar, Shinsuke Nakamura & Brian Strowman in addition to the legendary Steve Austin, Andre the Giant, The Rock & more. You can choose from a roster of over 200 WWE superstars, & you can create a nearly unlimited amount of dream matches.

WWE 2K19 Gameplay:

One of the things that fans criticized mostly in earlier 4 WWE installments is the simulation styled sluggish gameplay. When you press a button, that triggers an action, & it does not feel like you are playing a video game. Before game release date, 2K addressed this problem & they told that this problem is fixed in WWE 2K19.

When I played the game, I quickly noticed that the gameplay feels faster & more fluid. It is now enjoyable & if you play WWE 2K19, you will immediately notice it.

2K also adds new silly game modes like big head mode. It looks like 2K are not taking things seriously this time as they might have in earlier years. It is something positive because 2K have noticed that the realism centric gameplay of earlier years may have truly been getting in the way of a fun user experience.

A new feature known as payback is added which let players swing the direction of a match for example calling for another wrestler to help you.

A Tower mode is introduced which allows a ladder system of gameplay where you take control of a single wrestler & you are challenged to battle your way up to the top. It is similar to Mortal Kombat which lets you battle rivals of increasing difficulty.

WWE 2K19 Superstar Ratings:

WWE 2K19 has released full list of ratings for all Superstars. Some of the Superstars are rated too low or too high in WWE 2K19. Booker T’s rating is missing from the 2K roster.

Fans will be happy to see that AJ Styles is rated a few points above John Cena but they will be upset to watch him rated below Roman Reigns (92) & Brock Lesnar (93). We think that AJ Styles should be given 92 points like Roman Reigns. Our rating is based on Style’s recent form & success in the ring.

Braun Strowman is assigned 89 in WWE 2K19 which seems low for such a powerful wrestler. Braun has gone toe to toe with Lesnar & Reigns in some intense fights. He has displayed his power on a level like no other wrestler, dominating many rivals in a ring. We think that he should be assigned better rating.
