Telltale fired most of its remaining staff who were working on the unfinished projects:

Telltale fired most of its workers in September, 2018 without offering them severance but they reserved 25 people. It seems like the remaining workers were laid off too.

We do not know that whether Telltale Games will complete the remaining episodes of TWD.

Creator of TWD Robert Kirkman offered some hope & he said that Telltale team is trying their best to make sure that Clementine’s story is told. He added that he does not plan on continuing Clementine's story.

Fans who were following the series since 2012 want to see the conclusion of Clementine’s story. There are other top games that Telltale has produced including The Wolf Among Us & a game which is based on Netflix’s Stranger Things. Fans also want to know whether they will see the second season of The Wolf Among Us.

Telltale made partnership with Netflix to work on 2 other projects which includes a version of Minecraft: Story Mode & a Stranger Things game. After the closure of the studio, Netflix said that they will still work in collaboration with Telltale on the unfinished projects.

TWD: The Final Season will arrive at 15 January, 2019:

With the sudden closure of Telltale Games, fans wanted to know whether they will be able to play TWD: The Final Season. It is now confirmed that The Final Season will be out on 15 January, 2019 & many of the core developers are working to complete the project.

In the trailer for Episode 3: Broken Toys, we can see Clementine helping her new friend & we can see the cutscenes from the first season when Lee is helping Clementine in the same way. She needed help in the beginning but now she has grown-up to become a tough survivor.

Robert Kirkman, the creator of The Walking Dead & his studio Skybound Entertainment announced at New York Comic Con 2018 that they made a deal that will allow the former developers to return & continue working on the final episode. Skybound Entertainment has brought on 40 of the main developers to ensure that the same team continue working on to complete the season.
