Dirt 5 & Dirt Rally 2.0 are race simulation video games that are developed & published by Codemasters & are the 14th & 13th video games installment respectively in the Colin McRae Rally series & the eighth & seventh video games installment respectively with the Dirt series title.

Dirt 5 & Dirt Rally 2.0 are rally-themed racing video games with focus on off-road racing. Different types of races are rally cross, stadium super trucks & off-road buggies. In both video games, there are so many race circuits available. Race on numerous race circuits around the globe filled with ice, snow, gravel & sand. Also enjoy variety of vehicles from rallies to trucks, to GT heroes. Both video games have a well-developed weather system but in Dirt 5, not only the weather is dynamic but it also affects racers performances, for example; if a race is in New York City during winter season then the weather situations can disturb the driving skills of the driver. Both Dirt 5 & Dirt Rally 2.0 features detailed career mode. However, in Dirt 5, the career mode is a bit more brilliant. In addition, the gamer also has a mentor who provides gamer with valuable advice in the career mode in Dirt 5. The developers added diverse seasons for diverse locations. Both video games have a day & night cycle along with dynamic weather.

Both video games are available in single-player mode along with online multiplayer mode. Dirt Rally 2.0 has an online multiplayer option, but it does not offer split screen option. Dirt 5 has a four-player split-screen option along with online multi-player mode. The problem with Dirt Rally 2.0 multiplayer is that it does not have enough options & contents.
