MotoGP 22: Local Split-screen and Online PVP Multiplayer, Co-op, Cross Play, Cross Gen Play, Cross Progression, Cross Gen Save:
MotoGP 22 is set to be released
on 24 April 2022. It offers a local split-screen multiplayer mode for 2
players. MotoGP 22 will offer Cross Gen Play for both Xbox & PlayStation families.
However, MotoGP 22 does not support Cross Play between Xbox & PlayStation.

The largest alteration to the
MotoGP series is the addition of 2 extra multiplayer modes. Players can now use
Couch Split-screen PVP Multiplayer. However, Switch does not offer local Split-screen
VS Multiplayer mode.
MotoGP 2022 is set to be launched
on 21 April on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, & Nintendo Switch.
MotoGP 22 supports both Local
Split-screen & Online PVP Multiplayer modes. Players can play with their
online friends using Online PVP Multiplayer mode. Additionally, players are
allowed to play against their online buddies via Cross Gen Play. PS4 players
can only play with PS5 players using Cross Gen Play. The same feature works for
the Xbox family. However, PlayStation users cannot play with Xbox users. Thus,
MotoGP 22 does not support Cross Play or Cross Platform Multiplayer feature.
MotoGP 22 does not support both Local
and Online Co-op Multiplayer.
Both Cross Save (Cross
Progression) & Cross Gen Save are yet to be confirmed for MotoGP 22. Both Cross
Progression & Cross Gen Save were not available in MotoGP 21. There is no
information about the addition of Cross Progression & Cross Gen Save in
MotoGP 22 even though the game is launching next month.
Cross Platform is not yet
confirmed for MotoGP 22. Cross Platform was not available in MotoGP 2021. Cross
Platform means, you need to buy a game for one hardware, & access the game through
every supported hardware without having to purchase the same game for multi
hardware.
Both Couch and Online Co-op
Multiplayer are not included in MotoGP 22.
