Exploring:

The game features semi-open world & allows player to discover huge map. During exploration player can find treasure & greater loot but at the risk of running into dangerous monsters. Player can also earn funds through looting items from dangerous monsters. Pressing L3 button give player full map overlay of the present area where player is present.           

Combat Mechanics:

Fight takes place directly on the map in menu-driven combat. Player has to control only one member at a time while the other members of the party are controlled by the CPU.

When player start levelling with a playable character, player pick a board from a selection of 12, each of which represents a combat archetype. The 'white mage' board allows player access to recovery spells, that means better healing choice.

The game offers player a brute-force that is very helpful in duller dungeons fights.  

License Boards:

License Boards are the grids that open up passive skills, magic spells & weapon through using points player earned during the game.

Trial Mode:

Trial Mode offers an optional challenge that let player in a rush of 100 consecutive combats that starts from the simple fight involving sewer rats & end in a difficult fight against dangerous adversaries.

Duration:

It can take player from 60 hours to over 100 hours to complete the game depending upon the pace of the player.

Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age is released on PS4 on 11 July 2017. It is released on PC Windows on 2 February 2018. The game is launched on Xbox One & Nintendo Switch on 30 April 2019.
