Remedy acquires Alan Wake rights & it is coming to different platforms:

Remedy wants to bring Alan Wake to different platforms & they previously made an announcement that they have got the publishing rights of the game from Microsoft. Alan Wake is currently available on Xbox 360 & PC. There are no more announcements from Remedy & receiving the rights only mean that Alan Wake is coming to other platforms.

Alan Wake & its sequel, American Nightmare, were published on Xbox 360 & self-published on PC by Remedy. We do not know whether Remedy will make another spinoff because in the past they said that they want to develop its part 2.
