A Hole New World Review:

A Hole New World is a 2D side scrolling platform game.

In both worlds, whether it is real world or the dark parallel dimension, you have to fight against thirty different types of adversaries including giants who can transform into lightning balls, shield bearers who do not take damage when hit from the front, wolves, ghosts who can fly & even enemies in the form of rain clouds who can bombard you with icicles. The most powerful enemies include the bosses each with unique attacks.

A Hole New World Story:

In a fantasy world an evil Lord from the parallel dimension invades your world. The evil lord can be stopped by special potions & you are also helped by a fairy in your fight against the evil lord. You can visit many locations including the dark parallel dimension.

A Hole New World Gameplay:

Action is observed from side-perspective. You have to jump over the obstacles, collect objects & battle against many adversaries in five locations including the parallel dimension.

Inverted Gravity:

If you fall off the platform, then it is game over for you. The game features the concept of inverted gravity that means you can walk on the ceiling & if you perform a jump then you go down due to inverted gravity.

Weapons:

You can use potion against the enemies & can also use the power of your fairy. Fairy can shoot like a bullet against enemies providing damage to the enemies. You can also throw potion on enemies thus damaging them. There are different types of special potions that get unlocked as you progress through the course of the game. One of the special potion creates thunderbolt & strikes where it lands, other special potion creates a ball that turns from ice to fire & back to ice whenever it hit enemies & another special potion unlocks double jump & dash hit strike.

Modes:

Along with the main story campaign, the game features Boss Rush Mode, Challenge Mode & Game+ modes.
