The main improvement of F1 2020 compared to F1 2019 is that F1 2020 features My Team game mode. My Team mode lets players build their own F1 team. All New “My Team” Mode:

Compared to the F1 2019, this new mode in F1 2020 lets players to build their own F1 team. First, you have to create a driver, then choose a sponsor, later an engine supplier, & finally hire your teammate. This feature is the marvelous improvement compared to F1 2019.

10-year Career Mode:

F1 2020 Career game mode has new features that were not included in F1 2019. In the Career mode & My Team mode, players can pick any of the three season lengths. Players have the option to pick the full 22-race season, or the 10 & 16 races seasons.

Split-screen:

F1 2020 has reintroduced the fan favorite split-screen mode. F1 2020 allows you to play with friend/family. This important feature was not available in F1 2019. So now spend quality time with those you love whether it is your family or friends.

Deluxe Edition:

This feature was also absent in F1 2019. F1 2020 has honored the legend German driver Michael Schumacher by including him in the deluxe edition along with his four cars. So now, you can control the driver Michael Schumacher along with his four iconic cars & enjoy the game even more.

Release Date:

F1 2019 was released on June 25, 2019. F1 2020 releases on July 7, 2020.

There is no doubt that the graphic & visual contents of F1 2020 have substantially improved compared to F1 2019. The game looks more real than ever before just like actual F1 broadcast.

Audio:

In F1 2019, the sound of cars were somewhat flat. I am not saying it was not good. Actually, F1 cars sound is thrilling anyway. In F1 2020, Codemasters, tried to make car sound as real as possible. In my opinion, the most remarkable thing in car racing games is the vehicle sound. The developers greatly improved car sounds in F1 2020.

Controls:

Both games require controller. Controls of the games are quite simple including braking, traction control, dirty air, etc are simple & easy.

Camera control & variety of angles are available in both games. In F1 2020, you can enjoy some new camera angles, not only the broadcast camera, but also the replay and spectator cameras look different. The cut scenes look even better, & better-looking spectator cameras in case of reaction to an overtake or crash. F1 2020 has done good job in bringing more variety to camera features.

Other Changes:

Compared to F1 2019, F1 2020 has made changes to the structure of some cars such as their noses & wings. Cooling systems of cars got some changes. In hot temperatures such as in Bahrain, car-cooling system matters a lot. Some of the car designs are further smoothened.
