Local (shared / split screen) co-op gives players the chance to play the game together on the same display. Local co-op is also known as offline co-op.

Unluckily, Local co-op is unsupported in FFVII Remake Intergrade.

Players across the globe can join the online co-op to finish the story mode together using different hardware. Players can use the internet for connecting together.

Alas, FFVII Remake Intergrade does not offer online co-op.

Local VS multiplayer mode gives players the chance to compete against each other from the same display. Players can compete either solo or in teams.

Sadly, VS multiplayer has been excluded from FFVII Remake.

Cross Gen Play allows you to join the game with other players using the same generation that you are using or a different one.

Alas, Cross Gen Play is missing from FF7 Remake Intergrade.

Gamers can start the game on one platform & continue the gameplay from where they have left off on another. Cross Save has another name “Cross Progression”.
