The Centennial Case: A Shijima Story Narrative:
You will play as a lady who is an
expert in detective narratives. She has a mission to crack the mystery behind
the assassinations of members of the Japanese royal family.
All of the victims died in a 100
year period. In 1922, the first crime was committed, & the last one in
2022.
The Centennial Case: A Shijima Story Gameplay:
Players will control a detective
in this adventurous game, so the focus is on the filmic sequences with actors. You
need to resolve the mystery of assassinations of members of a prominent Japan
family in a hundred years period.
Every case starts with a lengthy
clip that shows how the victim died. Discover every hint inside the clip that
will help you in solving it. Hints collecting interface allows you to
manipulate the stuff & discover clues in it.
After discovering all hints, it
is time to solve the crime by arranging the hints to make a logical arrangement
of events. Then it is time for concluding the result & finding whose
responsible for this crime. May be your facts are not right, & in this
section, you will discover whether you are right or wrong. If your facts are
incorrect, then a bad ending will play. Later you have to solve the mystery
again.
It is hard to deduct because in each 3 time periods the same actors have diverse roles. Therefore, the victim of the earlier case could be the criminal in the later.
