Is In Nightmare coming to Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PC, Nintendo Switch or Google Stadia?
In Nightmare is a PlayStation
exclusive game that means it will not be released on other consoles. If In
Nightmare is a timed exclusive game, then it might take up to one year to
release on other platforms including Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch
or Google Stadia.
ESRB has rated In Nightmare for
PC, PS4 & PS5 that gives us a clue that In Nightmare might possibly release
on PC. However, there is no official announcement from the publishers about
releasing In Nightmare on PC. In Nightmare is only confirmed to release on PS4
& PS5 on 29 March 2022. It will be good news for PC fans, if In Nightmare
launches on PC as well after its release on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
However, In Nightmare’s ESRB rating for PC could be a mistake.
Can console exclusive games launch on other platforms?
A game can be permanent or timed
exclusive to specific devices. Timed exclusive games let developers launch
their game on other platforms after the time period expires. Timed exclusivity
period usually expires in one year, and then the developers are free to release
their game on other platforms. Developers receive many funds if their game is
permanently exclusive. In some cases, the game is exclusive just for console
but can launch on PC too. Either you can port the game from PC to console like
PUBG that remained exclusive to Xbox One for a limited time or games could
launch on PC as well as on one console.
In Nightmare Description:
In Nightmare is observed from the
bird’s eye perspective. In Nightmare mixes multiple horror elements for making
a splendid gameplay. Players need to solve puzzles & avoid battles at any
cost by sneaking past rivals.
Conclusion:
In Nightmare is a PlayStation
exclusive game. If it is timed-exclusive, then fans of Xbox One, Xbox Series
X/S, Nintendo Switch and Google Stadia have to wait for up to one year in order
to play In Nightmare. There is no official announcement about the confirmation
of In Nightmare for Xbox, PC, Google and Nintendo platforms. According to the ESRB
rating for PC, it makes sense that In Nightmare might be in the works for PC,
& it might be coming to PC after its release on PlayStation 4 &
PlayStation 5. However, the ESRB rating (for PC) can be a mistake.
