Light Fingers supports both Couch Co-op & PVP Multiplayer. Both Online Co-op & PVP Multiplayer are unavailable in Light Fingers. Cross Play or Cross Platform Multiplayer is not included in Light Fingers.

Light Fingers Gameplay:

When we played the game demo, we had to collect 2 pieces of treasure. We made a team of 2 players. I used a Joy-Con controller to control the thief while another player used another controller. The board itself was made up of several terrain tiles, but just one was visible at the beginning of the match. As we moved across the map, we discovered more tiles, & a dice roll determined tiles movement. Each tile had items for example gold, scrolls (cards to be used during the gameplay), dungeon & merchant shop. The complete board was made of a tiny puzzle box because each tile has a mechanical movement. The dungeons hidden underneath the terrain tiles slid out into view just like a drawer.

The simplest way to obtain treasure was stealing the chest in the merchant shop but doing so raised our infamy rating, which informed the guards & we had to face them. The game seemed more challenging than we expected. There was a second way to obtain treasure by going through dungeons. When we visited the dungeon, we faced an enemy player who also contributed to the activity by impeding our progress. Inside the room, they manipulated traps to harm us or robbed money that popped out from damaged boxes. If both of us succeeded to end our turns on a dungeon tile, we both would have to race each other to the end to determine who would get the treasure.

We tried to rob our rival’s treasure through a duel. Instead, those who would press a button on the Joy-Con first won the round. The game included 3 rounds & we managed to beat our opponent. We visited our hideout with the robbed treasure & kept it away from opponent players & guards.
