Gerda: A Flame in Winter Story:

The game is set in early 1945, during the German occupation of Denmark. Gerda serves as a nurse in a little rural town & her husband is imprisoned. The man leaves a letter for his wife, asking her to send some docs to ‘Sparrow’.

 

Gerda: A Flame in Winter Gameplay:

This game is playable from an isometric perspective. The narrative depends on the decisions players make during gameplay. The choices of players will play one of multiple endings. Players can enter dialogue choices with non-playable characters, & collect objects.

The woman can use some abilities & upgrade them while progressing through the gameplay. The skills are not talents or specializations but they are the heroine’s character - every attribute unlocks new opportunities.

The heroine can only use her mind & knowledge to protect her husband.

Each dilemma is difficult & choices can have its own consequences. Players need to make their decisions through a combination of exploring the world, her dialogues with NPCs, the items she collects & the relationships she establishes with the people. The character attributes are the abilities that Gerda can use in this story driven role-playing game & the link of the heroine with people will shape the game narrative.
