Magical Delicacy Gameplay:
A combination of a platformer and
an adventure game with metroidvania elements. In Magical Delicacy, we play as a
witch named Flora, running her own store where she sells magical food and
potions.
This game is set on a fantasy
planet – where many voyagers gather to discover a strange isle. A sorceress
named Flora also visits this island, who dreams of becoming a real mage. She
meets 2 members of conflicting covens. She learns from them but she needs to be
careful not to let them drag her into their conflict or use her for their own
aims.
A side scroller where users can
freely discover the city, interact with its inhabitants & build
relationships with them. The main objective of this game is to run a store.
The protagonist can make magical
food & potions, by following recipes or inventing. Raw materials can be
collected by discovering the metropolis or visiting traders. Some of the
traders or craftsmen can only be contacted at specific times. The protagonist
can sell food & potions at her store or deliver them to their clients.
Players will earn profit that can
be used to expand the business & buy new gears. As the business grows, the
protagonist will learn magic, gain new skills to make upgraded food &
potions & she can improve her abilities to explore the game world. They
will allow her to arrive in previously locked regions, find new ways &
shortcuts.
