Guilty Gear Strive will not launch on Nintendo Switch & Epic Games Store at launch:
Guilty Gear Strive is not releasing
on Epic Games Store & Nintendo Switch at least at launch. Arc System Works
might launch the game on Nintendo Switch & Epic Games in future. It seems
like right now the publishers have no plans for releasing the game on other
platforms. Most publishers release games for more platforms in future so we
will have to see whether Arc System Works use this opportunity or not. Also,
another bad news is that Guilty Gear Strive is not releasing on Xbox Series X/S
& Xbox One. This game will only be released on PC, PS4 & PS5 at launch.
Guilty Gear Strive offers both PVP multiplayer & cross-gen play:
Guilty Gear Strive offers multiplayer
features including local & online VS multiplayer, & cross-gen play.
However, some important features are missing such as cross play & cross
save. Developers have no plans of adding cross play but instead they have added
cross-gen play which only allows PS5 & PS4 gamers to play against each
other.
Every fighting game has a local VS
multiplayer feature. It allows 2 players to play against each other on the shared
screen. Players can play Guilty Gear Strive with their family / friends on the same
unit. There are no tag team battles so only 2 players can play at a time. Players
can choose their character & play against another player in one vs one
fights. Or they can play this game against an AI opponent when playing solo.
A gamer has the option of playing Guilty Gear Strive against another online gamer using an online multiplayer mode.
